In celebration of the National Disaster Consciousness Month, AMPC gives valuable information to its member-owners through conducting Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Training in AMPC Green Building, Obrero Davao City on July 18, 2015. Thirty-seven (37) participants are given lectures about The Philippine DRRM System, Contingency Planning, Incident Command System (ICS), Phases of an Earthquake Drill and What To Do Before, During and After an Earthquake. The training aims to enhance the member-owner’s basic knowledge on disaster preparedness and to review their respective disaster plans in relation to handling different situations in times of calamities. An earthquake drill has been conducted. It has made everybody realize the importance of having a contingency plan with a strong (Incident Command System) to facilitate beneficial responses the soonest possible and to reduce socio-economic vulnerabilities during such disasters. The activity is done in partnership with Office of the Civil Defense XI.
